Who's Daf : SUMMER ISLAND MALDIVES: UN RESORT NEL CUORE DELLE MALDIVE

Ebbene si, vi scrivo dal bel mezzo delle Maldive, precisamente a nord dell'atollo di Male nell'Oceano Indiano, quella parte del mondo che è definita "paradiso terrestre"; proprio quel paradiso che sembra quasi impossibile raggiungere ma che dopo 10 e più ore dall'Italia è finalmente diventata realtà.

Arrivato a Malè (capitale delle Maldive) dove si trova l'aeroporto internazionale, con una speedboat in un'oretta raggiungiamo l'isola di Zyaaraifushi, meglio conosciuta come Summer Island: un lussuoso resort dove la gentilezza dello staff, la calma del luogo, la natura e l'educazione ne fanno da padrona.
Summer Island Maldives è un resort nato nel Marzo 2015, nuovissimo nella struttura, presenta numerose villas individuali, ognuna con il proprio retro che dà direttamente alla spiaggia; una spiaggia di corallo bianca che davvero non ne ho mai viste di così belle e spettacolari circondano l'isolotto che a sua volta è delimitato dal reef ovvero, la barriera corallina, dove si puó incontrare una fauna marina tra le più estasianti al mondo: pesci pagliaccio, anemoni, pesci angelo, mante, squali balena, tartarughe, pesci balestra e così via sono gli abitanti dell'oceano, mentre sulla zona sommersa dell'isola è possibile osservare la tipica fauna composta da aironi, dai tipici uccelli marini chiamati kanbili (mi avete seguito sui miei canali instagram e snapchat?? potete trovarmi come @whosdaf; quell'uccellino che stava sempre fuori la nostra villa e che mangiava direttamente dalle mie mani ribattezzato Armandinhõ fa parte di loro ahah) tanti anche i pipistrelli che si cibano di frutta, i paguri (ovvero i granchietti nelle conchiglie) e tante lucertoline colorate che si mimetizzano perfettamente con la flora del luogo composta principalmente da altissime e stupende palme di cocco da cui si ricava il frutto tipico (la noce di cocco) che abbiamo assaggiato sia mangiandola a morsi, che mangiandola con il cucchiaino, che bevendone la dolcissima ed aromatica acqua al suo interno usata come cocktail di benvenuto.
Oltre le villas, su Summer Island è possibile passare indimenticabili giorni anche all'interno delle water villas ovvero, casette in legno su palafitte direttamente sull'acqua, un vero spettacolo vederle riflettere tra l'acqua turchese del mare.
Summer Island Maldives presenta anche un centro acquatico dove poter chiedere tutta l'attrezzatura ed imparare tramite corsi lo snorkeling e lo scuba diving, tipici sport acquatici praticanti nelle Maldive grazie alla moltitudine di specie marine che si possono osservare nel reef che delimitano gli atolli e le isolette dall'oceano aperto.
In Summer Island Maldives inoltre ci sono due ristoranti: il primo su una palafitta e l'altro vicino alla piscina a strapiombo sul mare (dove c'è una vista fantastica, ve lo garantisco!!) in cui si può gustare principalmente piatti tipici della cucina maldiviana ed indiana.
Io ho assaggiato tutto, i piatti sono davvero molto gustosi e speziati, i miei preferiti: pollo al curry, tonno al curry e riso al cocco, una vera delizia.
Inoltre mi son concesso un rilassante massaggio nella spa del resort all'interno di una water villa adibita appositamente a zona relax.
Ho passato quattro giorni fantastici su Summer Island vivendomi a pieno quest'esperienza avuta grazie e tramite Visit Maldives, ente turistico nazionale delle Maldive che mi ha permesso di osservare e vivere appieno l'emozione di trovarmi in uno dei luoghi più affascinanti nel mondo... e quale miglior inizio se non quello di godermi le Maldive partendo proprio da Summer Island Maldives.

Yes, I am writing from the middle of the Maldives, specifically in northern atoll of Male in the Indian Ocean, that part of the world which is called "paradise on earth"; precisely that paradise that seems almost impossible to achieve, but after 10 or more hours from Italy it has finally become a reality.
We arrived in Male (capital of Maldives) where the international airport is, in an hour we reached the island of Zyaaraifushi, better known as Summer Island by speedboat: a luxurious resort where politeness of the staff, the calm of the place, nature and education reign.
Summer Island Maldives is a resort founded in March 2015, it is a new structure, it has many individual villas, each with its own back which leads directly to the beach; a white coral beach which really I've never seen so beautiful and spectacular surrounding the island, which in turn is bordered by the reef, where you can meet an amazing fauna one of the most entrancing in the entire world: clownfish, anemones, angel fish, manta rays, whale sharks, turtles, triggerfish and so on are the ocean's inhabitants, while on the submerged area of the island you can observe the typical fauna, the typical seabirds called kanbili ( have you followed me on my instagram channels and Snapchat?? you can find me as @whosdaf; the bird that was always out of our villa and eating directly from my hands renamed armandinho is part of them lol) too many bats that feed on fruit, hermit crabs (crabs in shells) and many colorful lizards that are camouflaged perfectly with the flora of the site consists mainly of high and beautiful coconut palm trees from which they get the typical fruit (coconut) we tasted both eating it bites, that eating it with a spoon, or sipping the sweet and aromatic water inside used as a welcome cocktail.
Besides the villas, on Summer Island it is also possible to spend unforgettable days in the water villas, the typical wood houses on stilts over the water, a true wondering to see them reflect in the water of the turquoise sea.
Summer Island Maldives also has an aquatic center where you can ask all the equipment and learn through courses snorkeling and scuba diving, the typical water sports practitioners in the Maldives due to the multitude of marine species that can be observed in the reefs that surround the atolls and open ocean islands.
In Summer Island Maldives also we have two restaurants: the first one is on the water while the other one is next to the pool overlooking the sea (where there is a fantastic view, I guarantee!!) where you can mostly enjoy typical Maldivian and Indian cuisine.
I tasted everything, the dishes are very tasty and spicy, my favorite: chicken curry, tuna curry and coconut rice, a real treat.
Also I joined a relaxing massage at the resort spa in a water villa used specifically as relax area.
I spent four fantastic days of Summer Island full lived this experience thanks to Visit Maldives, the national tourist board of the Maldives that allowed me to fully observe and experience the thrill of being in one of the most fascinating places in the world... and what better to enjoy the Maldives
